Websites
I look after the Winston Graham website at winstongraham.org. Winston wrote the Poldark series of books now made into BBC TV programmes. When I retired from the OU Peggotty Graham, asked me to construct and then maintain the website. She is married to Winston’s son Andrew, so that’s my connection. In the 1960s I learnt how to sail dinghies at Mudeford on the south coast near Bournemouth. I’ve always loved boats small and large – cruise liners being the latest infatuation. For many years I helped run the OU Sailing club and we had our fleet moored at Haversham Sailing Club just north of Milton Keynes. While the lake is not quite as challenging as the Solent, sailing provides me a relaxing time away from the stresses of ‘life’. I try as much as possible, but not always successfully, to keep dry! I’m webmaster for havershamsc.org which keeps me busy updating weekly changes as well as keeping me in touch with my sailing friends. These are the websites I have designed and look after: mapperou.com ruthhfinnegan.com hearingothersvoices.org havershamsc.org winstongraham.org caths1.org |
